We visited my cousin Tom for the first time yesterday. Naturally, he was very curious about the kids and asked lots of questions. He asked how well Marin understands English.
I said "She's pretty good".
He asked "how good?"
I said" why don't you ask her a question?"
He said "Marin, who is handsome?"
Marin pointed right at Tom and said "You are"
Tom said "Pretty Good? She is proficient!"
